Where the sky kiss the ocean

Our next destination was Neil island after visiting Havlok Island. One of the best Islands in Andaman. Same as previous day we came with Havloks jetty at 10 am for check-in. The weather was better than the previous days.
After 1hour we were reached on Neil island.

Neil Island

Neil Island

The color of the sea is different like green in color. We hired a car from jetty and went towards the hotel. Neil Island hotel name is Green Park. The view of the hotel is amazing, around the hotel lots of coconut trees are there as a boundary. We were getting ready within 30 mints for sight scene.

Neil Island

We decided that having breakfast and went for sight scene. This island is isolated so the food is little price. We visited Bharatpur beach after the breakfast. A variety of water sports are available here like water skee, Scuba diving, Glass boat. We spent 30 mint on the area.

Neil Island

Our next point is the natural bridge. Various types of coral are available on Neil island. Andaman this place takes you through a walk through a slippery dirt road.

Neil Island

Walking can be challenging for people not fit enough. But on reaching the sight, one is astounded by the rock formation. The beach is relaxing but full of rocks and dead coral. After 15 mint Walking this place you get. If you want to hire a guide, but we didn’t take any guide. The Panorama of the place is very attractive. During the high tide, the land is submerged under the sea. One side of the beach is covered with forest, other sides covered with natural bridge and Indian ocean.
One should not miss this place while in Neil Island. The bridge is a natural wonder. Walking on dead corals had been a challenge but worth the effort. A guided tour is preferable as the guide shows you various types of marine life and corals. We saw Jack fruit corals, sea cucumber, starfish, electric eel, crabs, scorpion, Tiger coral a few to name.

The place has two stone arch shapes and loads of marine life to see. u can reserve about an hour to two out of your stay on Niel Island for this..

Neil Island

Visit during low tide
Laxmanpur is our next destination. This is the best beach on Neil Island .
Laxmanpur Beach is the best spot to watch the sunset on Neil Island. The sunset was a gorgeous sight. I can never forget those moments I had while watching it. I can still relive them when I close my eyes. It’s best to be at the beach an hour before sunset.

The lush green trees on the side of the beach offer travelers the opportunity to unwind and relish the serenity and nature’s charm.
There are so many beautiful spots on the beach to capture some interesting photos.
After spending 2 hours we came back to resort.

The next day heavy downpour was starting from 5 am. That was the day to came back Port Blair. while raining Our car was picked up at 8.30 am from the hotel towards Sitapur.

Neil Island

Sitapur beach is famous for sunrise but we cloud not saw the sunrise due to rainfall, but we did not miss the flavor of monsoon. Sitapur beach is 5km away from Neil Island and 42 km from Port Blair. Sitapur Beach is a serene rocky beach situated at the tip of Neil Island in Andamans.

Neil Island

Sitapur Beach is exposed to the open sea and thus prone to higher tides. Also known as the ‘Sunrise Beach’, this beach offers mesmerizing sunrise views early in the morning. This serene beach has two curved bays and clear blue waters.
The next day we came back to Bharatpur beach. Although we had visited the beach once again. The weather had been better than morning so we decided to try some water sports. This is the 1st experienced in high tide. Bharatpur beach is famous for Water sports. The well trainers are available here to train the water sports. Water ski is one of the water sports when we were little under the ocean. The speed of the water scooter is too high. The Andaman tour is any without doing water sports its very misfortune.
The weather was dull on that day so we were started our onset journey, like 10 mints before our jetty Makruzz started. Heavy downpour was the hurdle of the journey, after some time I saw that the frontage was murky due to rain. Passengers were tensed because of the weather but the crew members were looked after their jobs and took forward the whole situation.
After 2 hours we arrived at Port Blair. The weather was much better than the last few hours. Chatham Saw Mill was one of the visiting place of us, we visited it after that we went to the hotel. Chatham Saw Mill is the sawmill situated in Chatham Island of Andaman and Nicobar Islands in India. It was set up in 1883 with the primary objective to meet the local requirements of saw and timber for the constructional works. It is owned by the state government. This is a historical place which you can visit buying entry tickets to this place. But it is a sawmill which is still in operations. You can see the bomb pit which was struck during the Second World War.

There is a Japanese bunker (basically a cave), 2 bomb pits, some statues of elephants and tigers, a monument and a mini-museum where there a lot of wooden figures.

However, the Sawmill is the main attraction and you can see the various stages of the timber right from putting the logs in water to watching them cut it live.

I got enchanted with the beauty of the beach..I dream of a house near the Beach side..it’s a paradise..Must visit.
