Haridwar the city of temple

Haridwar is the place which does not need any review. Hardly does anyone exist in India, who is not aware about haridware. It was my second tour in haridwar .Last time we went in year 2006 and again we visited in 2011. But haridwar had changed a lot in the 5 years. The main market is slide spread out .the main attraction of haridwar is the market. In this market different type of religious human can be heard.
Har Ki Pauri :-
This is the main bathing ghat of Haridwar. It is India’s one of the best ghat beside Ganges it is such a spot which we like to visit again and again. Har Ki Pauri dham is the famous place to visit in haridwar. It is situated near Holy River Ganges. After having bath in the Ganges you feel blessed.

In this place, the subjugation is very beautiful .all the people get together to see this subjugation so you can take some time witness such a great event.

The city of temple :-
Haridwar basically is famous for temple, you can hire an auto to visit temples and autos can be hired at harkipourighats. But you must bur gain to fix the rate and then hire an auto.
Lots of temples are here,Bharatmatamandir, Chandidevitemple, Mansadevi, Dakhewara Maha Dev Temple , Mayadevitemple, Neelleshwartemple, Pawandham, Satikund.

Kakhol sati mandir :-
Dakhsha temple is worth experience. The temple is at the place called kankhal and dedicated to lord shiva.

“Take only memories, leave only footprints.”

– Chief Seattle

This is also called sati pith.in this place there is a big Shiva temple and there are also some small temple around this area. According to mythology this place is called sati pith. It’s a famous religious place of haridwar.
The original temple was renovated about 30 years ago. It’s located on the bank of ganges.

According to mythology the king daksha performed an agua that sati immolated herself. After that loardshiva was insulted by king daksha.
Subsequently lord shiva performed tandav in grief and story goes on “jai shiv shambhu”
It is a very peaceful place .according to mythology, the place where “sati” gave up her life.this place is for people with religious mind. The town kankhol is located about 6 km from haridwar.it is a name after king dakhshaprajapati, the father of sati (first wife of lord shiva).in this place very old temple is located. This temple offers scenic view with the river ganga.there are several excellent temples in same campus like dash mahavidya temple (who is tenth incarnation of chandi) Ganga devi temple, vaishnudevi temple, sheetalamata temple and many others. In visited this temple for the second time after 2006.thats why I loved that place again.
