Next we visited Pachet dam; it’s on the Damodar river dam is on the river of Damodar… the place was nice.
 

There was a garden called Nehru Garden. The garden was beautiful and well-maintained. The park’s closing time was 6 in the evening in the winter.

We were not there for long. We hopped into a boat from the dam, the riding experience was too damn good. There’s an island in the river, small and full of trees. It takes near about 30 minutes to reach the island.

We stopped our journey at the Kalyaneshwari temple. It’s one of the oldest of Kali temples in Bengal. Back in the days, this place was a deep forest, a hideout place for bandits. They used to worship Goddess Kali. The locals told us human sacrifice happened to be practiced here in the past. The temple and its outskirts were clean.

All in all, we enjoyed the trip and returned home with some cherish able memories.
