The Land of Natural Beauty and Dawn lit Mountains- ARUNAHAL

Arunachal Pradesh one of the best place of India. In 2010 we went to tawang the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. This is one of the beautiful tour but hectic at the same time in my life. Arunachal Pradesh is the hidden beauty of eastern India. It was my puja vacation when we went to Arunachal Pradesh.

“To awaken alone in a strange town is one of the pleasantest sensations in the world.”

– Freya Stark

The journey was started from Kolkata by train and our first destination is Guwahati. From there we hired a car and it took 3 hours to reach to Tejpur. We spent that night at Tejpur. Next day morning we started our journey for Bomdila and it took 7 hours.

Ideally, the trip was started from Bomdila with cool weather, which made our mind refresh.

BOMDILA MONESTRY:-
Basically Bomdila is a small village. After spending one night at Bomdila, we started our journey for Tawang.
The main attraction of Bomdila is “Bomdila Monastery.” This place is very quiet and very pleasant. This monastery is opened at 5 am and we spent 30 minutes in that place.

DARING VALLEY:-
In our journey between Bomdila and Tawang there is a beautiful place know as Daring valley. This is the ideal place for photography. So here we took a small break.

SELA PASS:-
It was seen in the way of Tawang. One should not spend here more than 5 minute. But due to technical fault we had stay here about 23 hours.

TAWANG:-
The main attraction of Arunchal Pradesh is Tawang. The beauty of this place is exquisite for everyone.
This is basically a hill station and there are two places which are very famous. One is Tawang Monastery and other one is War Memorial.

TAWANG MONASTERY:-
This is the largest monastery in India. It’s almost 400 year old. One can have idea regarding the lifestyle of Buddhist.

The War Memorial:-
SALUTE TO THE BRAVE :-
Everyone must visit this place, when you are in Tawang. The War Memorial signifies the sacrifice of our Indian soldiers during 1962 Indo-China war.

This place is well maintained and an individual came to know the information regarding that war. Basically we visited that place in morning but in evening a light and sound show is also shown.

DASERA FESTIVAL:-
We visited that place in the time of Dasera. Tawang city is used to 3 days function during Dasera and in which they represent their cultural and tradition through different types of songs and dances.

It is a nice experience for us to watch this function. This is really memorable for us. They also organised a lucky draw for tourists and we were very much lucky, to won that lucky draw and they gave us a tea set. I keep that tea set still as a memory of Tawang..
When we returned from Tawang we had visited the Chilipum Monastery which is one of the best Monasteries in my life.
For more details :- Chilipum Monestry is the best colorful monestry I have ever seen in my life.
All over the tour is good for us. Albeit the conditions of roads are quiet bad but still the scenic beauty of Arunachal Pradesh is memorable for us.
