Jayanti river is like symbol of lonely Beauty. We visited here at Dec 2012, Went from Jaldapara for sight scene.Superb beauty.

After our elephant safari we went there hiring a car. I between seeing Baksha tiger forest & Rajabhat kawa when we went there the time was 2.30 pm.The distance between Jaldapara & Jayanti is 60km.The road from Jaldapara to Jayanti is awesome. That day weather was little cloudy so the road was looking more beautiful. We reached this place at around 3pm and it looked really pretty.

We were 6 in total & was waiting for some unknown beauty. We rushed towards the bank of the river. There were stones all around the place; large and small and of different colors. The area is filled with white stones and sand. If you see it suddenly, it will look like the Rann of Kutchchh(Gujarat). The place was surprisingly lonely. We drenched our feet in the cool water of the river and instantly felt fresh. The original beauty of Jayanti can be visualized only on a full moon night.

Then we crossed the river to go the forest on the opposite side.Though we didn’t enter into the forest. On the opposite side of the river Jayanti, there was a broken bridge. The bridge was destroyed during the last storm. We clicked some snaps there.

Next we went to the forest and saw many unknown species of trees and flowers there.

Though to stay there are some hotel & lodges are here still maximum tourists spend some time & go back. We spent around one hours on the banks of river Jayanti and then went back to Jaldapara. Unless you see Jayanti, you will not realise how lonely beauty can be.
