If you love thrill in Nature & Forest then you stay in Palash Bithi. 

Though we never booked star marks hotel anywhere but may be for the first time in life we stayed in a hut. But it was like we stayed at the heart of the nature. we stayed there during our Garpanchkot tour. We Visited this place October 2012.

Generator is there which runs from 6-10pm.After 10pm it’s really amazing.Caretakers of the cottage arranged food for us. Whatever you can order veg or non-veg they’ll arrange.

In the evening we were roaming in the area. Here is one local village. It’s 10 minutes walking distance from our resort. WBFDC resort. This is govt resort.To stay here advanced booking is required. Though there is jungle in two sides of the road. I have seen an interesting thing in the jungle of Purulia that is jungle spider of different types.

Even they will arrange the car for sight scene. In midnight I was thinking I’m in a hut so far from Kolkata at the same time we can’t stand at the road of Kolkata because it’s the day of Ashtami. When they off the generator we could hear so many types of sounds from the forest.

There are so many types of sound comes from the jungle.Sometimes some of sounds
of animal & sometimes sound of “Dhak” from Durga puja.The night was awesome.
Though we were little scared but this type of accommodation we enjoyed a lot.

Though We stayed in Palashbithi in 2012 but it’s renovated.
